Will Frieldwald of the Wall Street Journal raves that she’s an "outstanding vocalist and songwriter". BlueMonkMoods claims that she’s "making Hot Jazz sound cool!" Svetlana & The Delancey Five transports the audience to a carnival of sound, seamlessly moving from soft introspection to a "exuberant, foot-stomping music combining swing and pop-singer/songwriter sensibilities," says WPIX11TV, a jazz band fit for the 21st Century.

NEA Jazz Master, Paquito D’Rivera defies categorization. Winner of multiple Grammy Awards, he is celebrated both for his artistry in Latin jazz and his achievements as a classical composer.
Born in Havana, Cuba, he performed at age 10 with the National Theater Orchestra, studied at the Havana Conservatory of Music and, at 17, became a featured soloist with the Cuban National Symphony. As a founding member of the Orquesta Cubana de Musica Moderna, he directed that group for two years, while at the same time playing both the clarinet and saxophone with the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra. In 1988, he was a founding member of the United Nation Orchestra, a 15-piece ensemble organized by Dizzy Gillespie to showcase the fusion of Latin and Caribbean influences with jazz. D’Rivera continues to appear as guest conductor.

Jason Marsalis is the son of pianist and music educator Ellis Marsalis and his wife Dolores, and the youngest sibling of Wynton, Branford and Delfeayo. Together, the four brothers and Ellis comprise New Orleans’s venerable “first family of jazz,” and are recipients of the National Endowment for the Arts 2011 Jazz Masters awards. Jason is well known for his prodigal drumming. Working with his father’s group, as well as the great pianist Marcus Roberts, he has fine-tuned his playing in two of the most demanding trio settings in modern jazz. However, with the release of 2013’s “In A World of Mallets”, and his recognition as the 2013 rising star winner in the Downbeat Magazine annual critics poll, listeners are now recognizing Jason for his unique sound on the vibraphones.

The South Florida Jazz Orchestra is a modern Big Band comprised of some of the best jazz musicians, studio musicians, and jazz educators in the southeastern part of the United States. The members have performed and toured with many of the greatest artists in Jazz and Popular music. These musicians’ careers include tenure with the Big Bands of Woody Herman, Buddy Rich, and Maynard Ferguson, and artists from Stan Getz, Dave Grusin, and James Moody to Frank Sinatra, Paul Anka, and Joe Williams. Big Band veteran Chuck Bergeron put this group together as a “Labor of Love” to provide the South Florida community with an opportunity to hear classic and modern works for large Jazz ensemble, and to present concerts featuring a wide variety of musical guests. They have produced concerts featuring many great artists, including Arturo Sandoval, Kevin Mahogany, Eddie Daniels, Tom Scott, Wayne Bergeron, and Mark O’Connor.
